I just had to brag about the sun shining - ha! We got some snow this past week, not as much as they predicted and ironically not nearly as much as the southern part of the state!
We thought it was crazy that Southaven, MS, where we moved from, got 8-9 inches while we only got 2! The boys had fun, so that's all that matters.
It was sooooo cold. I didn't want Luke out in it because we are ill prepared for these temperatures. I'm a Mississippi girl and I just don't think I was made for a high of 14! I breathed out as I was taking this picture and it fogged up the lens - coooold.
My brother spent the day with us and played in the snow with Ben and Jackson. There's just nothing quite like a 16 year old uncle around. Luke wanted out with Jackson so badly that he ran after him in his robe and boots. I let him take the scene in and then made him stay inside with me.
We enjoyed homemade hot chocolate and beef stew and a lot of fun, family time since Dad got to stay home from work. I love snow days, for the day, but I'm already ready for Spring!

It's Shining!
Yesterday we FINALLLLY had a pretty, sunshiny not sub-zero temperature day. I know some of y'all live farther north and think our temps are sissy stuff but it is COLD outside to me!
I was so excited to get these boys out of the house and in some fresh air - I was 1 more cold, cloudy day away from being featured on the 5 oclock news.
I'm so ready for spring!
