Kroger shopping trip

I haven't done a post like this in a long time - probably because I have been sick as a dog for the past 5 months! I'm feeling better now and just in time for the big Kroger Mega sale. Here's my shopping trip from today. I only spent $65 for what would have been $180 worth of stuff. The crazy part was that the T-bone steaks were originally $33 and the chicken breast were normally $11 each...so my total for just the meat would have been $55 plus tax...how crazy is it that I got all of this for only $10 more than the meat alone would have cost me! (and you can't see the 24 roll toilet paper hiding behind the chicken and the 3 things of softsoap I forgot to put on the table)

Original price before sales and coupons: $180

Total spent: $65

Savings: $115 or 64%

Not too bad! :)

Sundays are our favorite. We love spending the time in church, with eachother and celebrating that mom is off until the next friday. We hope yours was wonderful too...

Well we went to our appt on Wednesday and found out we are having another little boy! Sorry to disappoint 70% of those of you who polled 'girl' ;). We are so excited and happy that Jackson and his little brother will get to grow/beat up eachother. I hope they will be the best of buds. I've always wanted to be a mom of all boys so looks like we'll keep with that thought :)

We got another very healthy report from the dr. I can not tell you how amazingly blessed we feel to have one healthy child here and another healthy child on the way. I definitely do not deserve these blessings but I will gladly accept them! Here are a few pictures from the ultrasound. We couldn't get a great profile shot because he was facing my back all curled up with his arm over his head...just like Jackson always did :)

And in other news, big brother Jackson got a super cute new nursery bag courtesy of my mom and aunt regina! I can't tell you how much I love, love, love it!

Tomorrow is the big day. We find out if Jackson will be getting a little sister or a little brother. We're anxiously waiting, so in the meantime we'd like to know what you think. Take this simple poll and let us know what it's going to be.
